w00t, MAF'06 rocks!
Haha, ended up with cuts, bruises, abrasions, blue blacks, sprains, aches, sun burns and screwed specs, but it was all worth it!
The day started off me waking up at uh 6am. Actually wanted to wake up at 5.30, but Justin said he wanted to meet up later, so later lor. Yea, and this morning he called me to ask to meet up earlier. Farnie sia. Anyway, so we met up with lots of stuff in our hands at the bus-stop, and my dad was so kind enough to offer a ride to school! I initially wanted him to fetch me to e bus-stop only. But oh well, thanks dad!
Upon arrival at the MPH, I started doing some warm-ups. Actually, dunno who say wanna practise e dance in e morning. Then nobody came la -_- Onli got Sherwyn, Shi hou and Benny (Justin, Louis and Nigel went to fetch the NY people or something apparently). So we were like tryin to figure out the moves by ourselves. Haha, and yea I managed to do a continuous quardraple swipe! Broke my own "record" of a tripe constinuous swipe! =\ And of course, I and sherwyn practised some six steps. Oh man, I think that six steps are way cool! xx)
And so, when the people started coming in, it also meant that my job of collecting the $50 CO fund started as well. It was a tough job, as even Sherwyn did not bring! But I collected what I could, and off I go to prepare for mass games.
Preparation for mass games was boring initially. We were sitting down tying water bombs lifelessly. Luckily I changed into sandals before starting my job, as the intention of getting wet was already on the other peoples' minds. True enough, we soon got wet a little bit, and off we went to scare people by bringing some water bombs over to the games area. And yea, we met Huiyi and Cherie on e way, and they offered to help us, so we had 2 more people to wet =P Soon, Weekian, Mingshiang, me, Yonghui, Jiaying, Peiyan, Huiyi and Cherie were all wet! Duno who started throwing water at one another and the water madness started. We were like so wet 5 hours before the mass games! Ji fun -_- Poor water! Singapore facing water crisis alr nia!
Anyway, we continued tying water bombs and playing with water until 4+, where we decided to start on the obstacle stuff (and yea, of course we went for lunch). I think I went to slack somehow =X. Haha, when I came back I think it was set up alr by Jiaying and Peiyan, good job gals! And off to more water bombs.
Splash, splash and slpash. Pails or water over one person and then another. It seemed so fun, yet its starting to get boring. Splashing the same old people are sooooo NOT fun la! But duno y they still do that, I'm fine with it anyway! xx) And yea, did I mention that we were trying to recall the dance steps while we were tying the bombs and stuff all the while! Haha! A failure attempt tho!
EEks, I think I will continue my post tmr, uh I mean later in the afternoon, since its already 1 in the morning. Mum going to get pissed soon I think, and I kinda tired as well (thanx to the dance =\ ). Keep posted for more information and about our finale item, the DANCE!
