HAPPY 2008 PEOPLE!
Okay, so I just got back from sheng/co outing/countdown "party".
First place we went was kbox.
Yeap,
That meant another $23 (it was $23.50 actually) burned away from me.
But well,
Now I have two kbox mugs/cups.
Oh and I realised why it costs $23.
Coz now is supposedly e festive season. (X-mas and new year, pick one)
So theres no student price.
And theres only one package available,
Which is e $23 one.
And they'll give you a cup/mug.
Second stop was at paradiz.
Figured out we had some time to burn,
So went to play lan.
We were joined by Nigel and Song Sim after which.
Third stop was watching fireworks!
We walked to this grass patch where there are many people camping to watching e fireworks.
We wanted to go esplanade,
But figured that we won't make it in time.
So we just sat on e grass patch and looked towards e shining spiky thing in e night sky.
And we were near some hotel buildings.
So we can see people staying at e hotel balconies with their cameras ready.
It was pretty cool.
And it was too bad that all I had with me was my phone.
No nice pictures!
And when it started.
WOAH!
It was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
It had been sometime since I saw live fireworks.
People starting cheering, screaming as the blasts of fireworks sounded in e night sky.
Flashes from hotel buildings.
More screamings.
The fireworks were darn magnificent.
It was a great sight.
Simply beautiful.
Will chase Song Sim for fireworks photos when I wake up.
Lastly, we went to buy drinks.
Whats was interesting was that e price of e drinks were uneven.
As e crowd disperses from e grass patches and etc places,
People started to feel thirsty as well.
And so, there was this money changer store nearby.
And when there is demand,
The shopkeepers decided it was a good time to earn money.
So prices of e drinks went up.
I bought a bottle of 1000 lemon or something like that.
And it costs $1.70. (Yeap, my first expenditure of e year)
And then, my juniors bought their drinks at $1.90 and $2 respectively.
Immediate fluctuation.
Oh oh oh,
I have to thank my father here.
For waking up at 1+ just to drive to J8 to fetch me home.
Thanks dad!

Well yeah,
Somehow, they extended e MRT service time and not e bus.
And as I have mentioned many times,
Me being broke, ($2.05 to be exact)
Could not afford e overpriced taxis,
And had to bother my dad.
><
Today had been a fun day.
First countdown out with friends.
Wishing all once again,
A happy new year.
A good 2008 for one and all!
Time to catch some sleep.
